Found the car I wanted. It needed a repair on the transmission. Got it done, but the service department didn’t communicate well with sales. Also, please clear out the salesman’s messages, I could not leave anything for them, their phones were full.
I bought my first car here and Mike was great and easy to work with. I never once felt pressured or pushed to do anything. Once I decided on what I wanted, the process was super quick and he walked me through all the steps. Highly recommend him!
Less expensive than non-dealership service places on the work we needed. Took a little longer than I wanted, but still super easy to drop off, pick up and stay connected about the issue.

I purchased a 2023 F150 under the impression that it was a Factory Certified vehicle. However, I discovered that the dealership used a non-Ford, third-party "dealer certification" instead of the official Ford Blue Advantage program.
By using their own internal "certified" label instead of Ford Corporate's standard certification, you miss out on true Ford factory warranty coverage, nationwide dealer support, Ford Pass points, and standard Ford CPO benefits. Eddie was patient and accommodating and never put any pressure on me. We had one small hiccup that was unexpected and Sunset Ford felt bad so they offered me an additional discount which also was unexpected. I would highly recommend them.

No spare tire on new vehicle, and nobody told me i had to but add on to put a license plate on the front of the vehicle. the police let me know about that.

I brought my 2021 f150 in for warranty work on my transmission (which they covered) but in the process they broke a bolt off in my turbo (the turbo was still in working condition)and wouldn’t cover it, made me pay for it and didn’t even give me the old turbo back after I paid for a new one. I also have an extended warranty plus the lifetime powertrain warranty they offered with the truck. Now I’m out $1300.00+ on their negligence.
We had an incident on the highway where some debris damaged our vehicle, and we walked into Ford to see if they could help. Thankfully they had the part and was able to install it the same day. We expected to be in there all day but were out before noon. Tom in the parts and service department was phenomenal. 10/10 experience all around at this location.
We needed a new car. We had bought one 2 years ago and Jim Wagstaff was our salesman. We were very pleased with our previous experience and contacted him to buy a new vehicle. Once again Mr Wagstaff was very helpful and we were able to get the car we wanted. It was also delivered early! What a great experience.
Terrible!! I would not even give them 1 star, but that is as low as the rating will go. I'm still waiting for my Ranger to be returned to me. They seem very confused about everything. Don't use them, you can do better elsewhere.

Mike was great to work with from start to finish. No high pressure sales tactics, no coercion and zero drama. He communicated daily through text messages and was pleasant to talk to. I have traditionally despised dealerships, but this experience may have changed my mind about this one. I live in Illinios, but will likely return to Sunset for future maintenance needs rather than deal with hometown dealers.

Tim did a great job getting me set up with a new Bronco Sport. It had been several years since I had upgraded vehicles and he took time to make sure I was comfortable with the new one.
I was disappointed in the fact that the value indicated in your lead generating email for my trade was significantly higher than that offered for the trade. I understand the email is not an offer to buy, however, you could do a much better job with ensuring the estimated price for a trade is more indicative of what the trade is actually worth.

They told me my F-150 is too old and has too many miles without even physically seeing the condition it's in. I'll happily take my business to a more accommodating dealership. Maybe notify potential customers that you won't accept vehicles older than 10 years or over100,000 miles, before they call trying to get service. Great brand support.

Lies on their vehicle history. They do not actually check all the things, or perform the work, that are part of vehicle maintenance schedule by Ford. Wouldn't perform a service bulletin by Ford for a known maintenance issue. Lazy dealership and lazy techs.

Tom O'Day is an absolute great service advisor. He is customer focused and will move mountains for his customers when it comes to making sure their vehicle is fixed and they have minimal inconvenience on their end. I had to bring my F-150 in to get some work done, Initially when it was dropped off the dealer had a bunch of major repairs that hit all at the same time and pushed my repair date back at least a week or more.
