Nice and clean. Took a few minutes to find someone to help us (but it's better than being bombarded the moment you lay rubber in the parking lot). Nice people, very laid back, stress free environment. Seriously the most stress free car purchase I've ever made. The only concern--I was ensured there'd been a thorough inspection done but then after the paperwork was signed, the sales worker said the tire pressure sensor was messed up (had I known before I could have included the repair in the dealership promises section). About a week and a half out, the car's power seemed to glitch when I turned my lights on. The next time I tried to start it, it wouldn't start. My husband removed some corrosion from the battery and it started up just fine. Hoping this was just a fluke and not a reflection on the dealership.

Sunset Ford had it several thousands less than anywhere else but its CARFAX was better than any other available. Mike Gerraghty responded to my inquiry very fast, sent me a personalized video of the truck, was very personable on the phone, picked me up from the airport, my truck was clean and fueled up. I have bought two cars previously where everything went
I have bought two cars previously where everything went smoothly. On 2/17/23, I had the worst car buying experience in my 47 years of buying cars. It took 4 1/2 hours to get in to do the paperwork so we could leave with our car. I believe it was because we weren't going to finance through them. We wanted to finance through our credit union. I'm saddened on how we were treated. I won't be back.

I took my Class C RV to Sunset Ford for warranty work and
I took my Class C RV to Sunset Ford for warranty work and an oil change, and I am very happy with the outcome. Very few dealers have a lift large enough to handle my RV. I was on a waiting list for an extended time when the lift was out of service, but Chris did not forget me; he contacted me when the lift was available again and managed to fit me into a very busy schedule. Mike, my service rep, was pleasant, courteous, and professional. When my RV was ready, Mike was out of the office, but his teammate Jamey was watching Mike's back, knew that I was anxious to get the vehicle back, and contacted me to let me know that my vehicle was ready. Maybe it was "the luck of the draw", and I did not get a name, but I heard that one of the best technicians in the shop worked on my vehicle. It was an excellent team effort on part of the service team and I will be happy to return there for future maintenance.

Repair took almost 3 months.
Repair took almost 3 months. Upon return ALL 4 tires lugs were a full 2 turns loose- and ONE lug was completely off. A safety issue that could have resulted in a fatal accident. We will NEVER use sunset or buy a vehicle from sunset, and will tell everyone we know or our poor experience. Justin (owner) didn’t bother communicating with us even after our request. The lack of concern by leadership was extremely disappointing.

I honestly didn’t believe him because my battery was recently replaced somewhere else. He recommended I go to that place to have it tested, so I did. It did test bad, and was replaced under warranty. It’s hard to find a business anymore that cares about
It’s hard to find a business anymore that cares about the customer’s experience. Sunset Ford used old school mentality and will have me coming back for service, and I will even try their sells department next time I’m looking for a new vehicle, hopefully that mentality spreads over the entire business. Justin Heutel, operational Manager, was easy to work with and made sure sure I was taken care of. Lonnie at the service desk was very personable and keep me informed on my vehicle. And the service techs who worked in the background finished my car in a timely manner, that I appreciate very much.

Took my vehicle in for a recall and was told after they

When I picked up the vehicle I complained about the lack of communication with the situation. By the next day they found the parts to complete the recall. Why did it take me complaining to get the part and do the recall the next day. Better customer service would have been going that extra mile without me complaining!

Communication seems to be worst problem here. Also training employees on what they are selling would have solved many problems we had.

Bought a new 2015 Explorer loaded with extras; about 40
Bought a new 2015 Explorer loaded with extras; about 40 k. The buying process went ok. What spoiled the experience was the after sale extended warranties. I sat with a different guy , listened to his pitch on a number of after market, offered by third party sources (not Ford or Sunset). I initially agreed to some and asked if I could change my mind with a day or two and he said “no problem. He ran payment on my credit card. I went home and read over the brochures. The very next morning, by 9 am I called the guy selling the extra warranty plans and told him I decided to not go through with any of them. The car sale and after market warranty plans took place on a Friday afternoon. He said he would take care of canceling the sale. It took numerous phone calls, different excuses and almost 2 months to get a credit for the third party warranties and then only with a threat of going to management It REALLY soured me on Sunset Ford. I told myself then I would not buy another car from Sunset. Too bad because other than the warranty issue the deal was ok. John Hesser.

Most of the time parts are required to provide good service. It took way too long to get parts. The unfortunate thing is my service was due to recalls. Once they received the parts they installed quickly. I need to go back for a couple issues that need additional attention. Hopefully we are at the end of issues that require service.

Oil changer didn't reset system, didn't check my battery, etc. I had been scheduled for front end alignment, rotation and replace air thingy for tire, oil change. Won't be coming back. This department was a lot better before the strike. Boo on you.

I found the SUV I wanted online, called the Dealership
I found the SUV I wanted online, called the Dealership and spoke with Faraz; he went out that evening and made a video of the SUV and sent it to me. The next morning, the SUV was waiting for me, I took for a test drive, they gave me a great deal on my trade-in, we reviewed the numbers, signed the papers and I was done! I took my Class C RV to Sunset Ford for warranty work and
I took my Class C RV to Sunset Ford for warranty work and an oil change, and I am very happy with the outcome. Very few dealers have a lift large enough to handle my RV. I was on a waiting list for an extended time when the lift was out of service, but Chris did not forget me; he contacted me when the lift was available again and managed to fit me into a very busy schedule. Mike, my service rep, was pleasant, courteous, and professional. When my RV was ready, Mike was out of the office, but his teammate Jamey was watching Mike's back, knew that I was anxious to get the vehicle back, and contacted me to let me know that my vehicle was ready. Maybe it was "the luck of the draw", and I did not get a name, but I heard that one of the best technicians in the shop worked on my vehicle. It was an excellent team effort on part of the service team and I will be happy to return there for future maintenance.
