Ford Performance Introduces All-Electric Mustang Cobra Jet 1400

Ford stunned the world by dropping the 2020 Mustang Cobra Jet 1400. It’s completely electric and does not rely on gas. It is a prototype, a mouthwatering one at that, so nobody knows what is coming. This supposed beauty holds onto the Cobra Jet name of the last 1960s model, and it was intended to be launched later this year.

This vehicle was designed to deliver a large amount of instant torque. The goal is always to show how innovative Ford is by using motorsport as stepping stones. Ford collaborated with four other companies to work on this project. MLe Racecars was involved with designing of system integration and in the tuning of this drag racer. Watson Engineering engineered the roll cage, AEM EV designed the software and calibrated the controls, Cascadia supplied the motor that was used.
